Hello again, im gonna write to you about ballet! Ballet which can be pronounced as ''ballay'' is a form of dance that has been around for many many years. Ballet actually goes back to the 15th century. Ballet, is one of my favourite type of dancing as it is so graceful and elegant. The dancers are just fabulous! Its almost like they are just floating around the stage. It has produced many great productions such as 'Swan Lake' and 'The Nutcracker'. The actual word 'ballet' comes from the French word 'balletto' which means theatrical dancing. Ballet is a very difficult dance to be learned perfectly,it involves years of training. To perfect the dancing you need the right shoes, ballet shoes or slippers which are very light and made out of leather, satin or canvas. Some very famous dancers include Anna Pavlova, Alicia Alonso and Mikhail Baryshnikov. Thats all for now, i hope yous learned your fair share about ballet (: x
